ModSpace owning thousands of units and its engineers require to make hundreds of inspections daily. Their current web-based system, called Msmart was too slow and cumbersome when used on a tablet, resulting in very limited user adoption and poor quality of the collected data.
Our team delivered a user centered tablet application which combines best in class user experience and interface design with the strength of state-of-the-art engineering. The results were much higher user adoption, increase of inspections per day and decrease of inspection completion time.
Our team developed a Microsoft Azure API that integrated with Oracle Database and a number of web services on the client’s premises. Thus, created an intra-connected SOA infrastructure in order to sync data from and to the iPad application.
